Certified Broadcast Meteorologist for WNBC, the flagship of the NBC station group in New York City. Member of American Meteorological Society (AMS) Board on Enterprise Economic Development and the Board on Best Practices.
Erica occasionally makes appearances on MSNBC cable news and on NBC national network broadcasts. In 2018, she was elected to the Council of the American Meteorological Society (AMS). She currently serves on the AMS Board on Enterprise Economic Development and the Board on Best Practices. She received her Bachelor of Science degree in Meteorology from Penn State University in 2002 and earned the Certified Broadcast Meteorologist designation from the AMS in 2012.
Moderator: Tomas Molina
Physicist and Journalist, Chief Meteorologist of Televisió de Catalunya since 1987, Associate Professor at the University of Barcelona, teaching Analysis and Meteorological Forecast, Meteorology and the Media.
Tomas is a member of the Board of Directors of the Meteorological Service of Catalonia, the UB Alumni Council and the Advisory Council of the Barcelona Institute of Entrepreneurship of the University of Barcelona. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the International Association of Broadcast Meteorology IABM, former chairman for 5 years. He has provided comments to the Synthesis report of the 5th IPCC report (IPCC AR5). He has several publications on Climate Change.
